Two firsts for Jonathan Woo. It’s his first victory, and it came at the very first Warren-Golfers’ Network Amateur Open 2008. Jonathan held off a feisty international field and many thanks go out to Warren Golf & Country Club and Golfers’ Network!

Aloha & congratulations to my old buddy Timo Donahue. Way back around 1977 Timo and I first met on the baseball field playing on the same little league baseball team in Pearl City, Hawaii. Timo has since taken a team of 11-12 year-olds from a small town in Waipi’o, Hawaii and beat both U.S. teams and international teams and won the Little League World Series. Way to go brother!

Jeev Milkha Singh wins the 2008 Barclay’s Singapore Open! Holding off Padraig Harrington and Ernie Els,  Jeev breaks through and wins one for Asia.

In 2008, Team International pulled out a victory in the most exciting Lexus Cup to date. 7 of the top ten LPGA players helped make up Team Asia and Team International and in all of golf; on this day, during this week, there was no better tournament in the world.

Great job Coerver Coaching. Coerver Coaching, Singapore and Asia’s premier football school held a 5 on 5 tournament at Tampines SAFRA. Youth from all over including Hong Kong, Philippines, Australia, Indonesia, host Singapore, and other countries battled in out in a fascinating 2 day football tournament. For the little footballers, this was the bigtime! If you want to learn football or have your child learn football and learn to work together as a team, Coerver Coaching is a must stop for any parent...these guys are good! Alohawerkz, Singapore’s Sports Photography Company wishes to thank Coerver Coaching and best wishes for 2009.

The biggest week of her life...maybe. Joey Poh, Singapore’s lone amateur contender embarks on one week that will change the rest of her life. The youngest participant at the HSBC Women’s Championship spent final preparations in a practice round with world number 2 Ya Ni Tseng and getting last minute tips from world number 4 Suzanne Petterson. Best of luck Joey, alohawerkz, and all the Singapore sports photographers hope to share in your excitement and be a part of maybe the biggest week in your life. Go get ‘em girl!

Alohawerkz, the Singapore sports photographer and photography company was thrilled to once again be hired from sports magazines to cover the HSBC Women’s Champions. JiYai Shin come from behind and knocked out both American Paula Creamer and Aussie Kathryn Hull. When asked what it is that has made the Korean Women so dominant, she simply answered, “kim-chee.” I’m sure we’ll see a lot more victories for JiYai and the strong Korean contingent.

For Joey Poh, your time will come. We learn more in defeat than we do in victory.

Call him Mr. Mamat. In the 4 day Mercedes Benz ASEAN Tour tournament Mardan quietly crept up and hung around the leaders. By day 3 he took charge and on day 4 he kept this Mercedes on cruise control for the first Mercedes Benz Masters ASEAN Tour vicotry of ’09. Alohawerkz, the Singapore Sports Photographer and Photography Company

Congratulates Mr. Mardan Mamat!

Earth Hour. Did you participate? No matter what your position on if there is or is not global warming, it’s always right to take care of the planet that takes care of us. When you look at the Earth from space, there are no borders, no boundaries, no political symbols...just one planet, and one race--the human race.

In all the sports photos and sports events Alohawerkz has ever taken, this photo is the most important. There is no greater competition sports or otherwise than our own survival.

Asia’s Fantastic Four. Gaganjeet Bhullar, Terry Pilkadaris , Liang Wen-Chong, and Tim Stewart played their way into the 2009 Open...The British Open. Remember these names and remember these faces as each will soon head for the history books in golf’s oldest PGA major.

Alohawerkz, the Singapore sports photography company wishes all the gentlemen the very best.

Acushnet Product & Media Golf Day

Keppel Country Club Singapore Qualifier for the World Golfers Championship...a tournament made by golfers for golfers. If you are an amateur golfer wanting to play in a big-time tournament against similar handicaps to your own with a chance to represent your country against golfers from all over the world, this is the tournament you want to be a part of.

Alohawerkz, Singapore’s sports photographer and photography company caught up with Phil Mickelson and brings you a rarely seen media interview.

(pardon the camera shake, no tripod that day)

Grant “Lucky” was the winner in our Barclays Singapore Open Golf Giveaway. The prizes he received were photos of players as well as autographed items from professional golfers. Grant is a junior golfer who resides in the state of Colorado in the United States. The following is a video clip of the players who signed Grant’s items which included ball caps, photos, and golf balls. Once again, Alohawerkz, the Singapore sports and events photography company proves again why we are different and personality orientated.
